St. Agnes Illumination (Christmas Lights)

Did you enjoy the autumn foliage this year? It's almost over here in Kyoto, and we only have one month left til the year end. It get busier and busier everyday, and soon we'll be listening to Christmas carols.

One of the delights in this time of the year is Christmas light-up events in town!

The one at Heian Jogakuin (平安女学院) St. Agnes University is the famous one in Kyoto, and it's very beautiful. This year, the event is conducted under the theme of "Prayers - Friendship Bonded with Hikari (光, lights)". It's cold outside, but you won't regret visiting there. Kyoto is the city of old and new, and such Western style events are also a part of Kyoto.
