Konoe no Itozakura (Weeping-Branch Cherry Tree) at Kyoto Gyoen National Garden

If you ask me, "what is the best spot to enjoy the view of early blooming weeping cherry tree?", I would reply, "please try Konoe no Itozakura (近衛の糸桜) at Kyoto Gyoen National Garden (京都御苑)". The grace of its view will be beyond your imagination.

On the premises of the former Konoe (近衛) clan residence, right inside the Imadegawa Gomon (今出川御門, the gate on the Imadegawa street) of Kyoto Gyoen, there are dozens of enormous cherry trees. In the season, many visitors come to see the view of this incredible early blossoms.

The view is almost like angels falling down from the sky. It is truly worth to see. Please try Yumeyakata kimono and visit there in this spring.
