Wisteria Flowers at Toba Aquatic Conservation Center

The most famous place for Fuji (藤, Wisteria) flowers in Kyoto must be Toba Aquatic Conservation Center (鳥羽水環境保全センター) in the Minami ward. Dark purple ones and rare white ones are vividly blooming in harmony. The wisteria trellis is a length of 120 meters in total and the site is filled with sweet and fresh scent.

The view of the flowers made me imagine a group of elegant ladies exactly as its flower language "tenderness" and "hospitality" express. Now it's going to be the prime season for wisteria flower viewing. Akane Kibune
