Last time I wrote about the flower waterbasin at Yokokuji (揚谷寺) temple, aka Yanagidani Kannon (柳谷観音). This time I would like to introduce the other pretty water basin at the same temple.
During the Autumn Foliage Week at this temple, Josyoin (上書院, the special guest room) is exclusively opened to the public, and the limited edition of Goshuin (御朱印, the red stamps) are given. Now that the weather is getting wintery, the quiet premises sorrounded by the rich nature is very pleasing to our eyes. The beautiful scarlet foliage is now welcoming its prime.
Among those attractions, the rainbow colored water basinis now the talk of the town. I saw many visiotrs taking pictures. Tinted leaves in the trees are very nice to see, but at the same time, fallen ones on the surface of the water is very pretty. I spent a quiet time there and enjoyed a peaceful sensation...
